Privacy: three lines first, then the detail
In three lines: the Society learns very little about you, uses it for one evening, and shares it with nobody who does not need it for that evening. The rest of this notice explains those lines. It applies to this website and to any exchange with Cressida that starts here.
Who is responsible
The details described here are in the care of Berkeley Square Society, which arranges outcall companionship in London and decides how they are used. Cressida answers for the Society on privacy as on everything else; write to her on WhatsApp or Telegram.
Reading the site
Browsing tells the Society nothing about you. No cookie is placed and no visit is counted, as the cookies page sets out, and the only outside service ever called delivers typefaces. Like any host, the server may note requests briefly for security; nobody reads those notes to learn who visited. Personal details never travel in a page address, the prepared WhatsApp message included.
Sending word
The Society knows what you tell it, and a booking needs little: what to call you, which night, for how long, and where, meaning a hotel with its room number or a residential address. The surname on a hotel reservation is asked for once, to confirm the room. Your messages are carried by WhatsApp or Telegram under their own policies; the Society runs no forms, accounts or mailing lists.
Purpose, and the basis for it
Two purposes, and no others: arranging the evening you requested, and checking the address before a companion sets out. The first rests on the arrangement you asked for; the second on the Society's legitimate interest in keeping companion and guest safe. Marketing, profiling and sale are ruled out entirely.
Who else is told
Your companion, and nobody else. She is told enough to find you and greet you, plus anything you wanted passed on.
When it is cleared
What you send is needed for one evening only. It lives in the message thread and nowhere else: no spreadsheet, no guest file, no database. Once the evening is over and nothing about it is outstanding, Cressida deletes the thread on the Society's side. You may delete yours whenever you wish, and ask for ours to go sooner.
What you may ask for
UK data protection law entitles you to see what the Society holds about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to or restrict its use. Cressida handles such requests herself, and the replies tend to be short because there is seldom much to report. If her answer leaves you dissatisfied, the Information Commissioner's Office is the place to complain.
Adults only, and revisions
Nobody under eighteen may use the service, so the Society should never hold a minor's details; if it ever found that it did, they would be deleted at once. When this notice changes, the new version replaces this one and takes effect on publication. The terms set out how bookings work.
One message to Cressida
Write with the night you have in mind, an hour, and where you will be staying. Cressida answers in the same thread, usually within minutes, with a name and a figure.
